Creatives and artists come in different shapes, sizes, and ages. From various backgrounds, cultures, making styles, genres and generations. From various levels of personal practice, professionality, hobbies and stages.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Creatives Gathering is an artist-to-artist exchange & practice stage dedicated to amplifying the voices of local creatives and our wide range of expressions and experiences. This is a participatory experience, no spectators.
OPEN MIC
An invitation for people to share what they are working on regardless of how polished or in progress it is. The open mic list is divided into two halves with an intermission in between. The list is selected at random with priority to first timers, marginalized voices, and original work.
OPEN MIC SIGN-UP
ON-THE-SPOT CREATING
There are stations and materials set up around the building to make art and invitations to create with other artists present. Feel free to bring your own supplies / pieces to share. You are encouraged to create on the spot! Take your art with you or add it to our "community refrigerator."
